Our goal is to provide well crafted, handmade, functional clothing. First hand experience with my child revealed a large gap in the availability of such clothing. Children’s clothing should be for kids, not adults. They are not little adults, so why dress them that way?! That is why our colors, patterns designs are made with kids in mind. We use my mother's vintage patterns from the late 1960’s early 1970’s sized to todays standards. Our clothes are ample, meaning the clothes are sized with room to grow.
We use classic fabrics & colors combining interesting textures & patterns so children can be stimulated in a visual & tactile manner by what they wear. We use soft textiles, so kids can be comfortable in play. They are well constructed and are made of durable, washable, natural materials.
Materials…
Generally, all main materials are 100% Cotton. Appliques, inserts and decorative adornments may be made of a poly blend but all materials are machine washable & dry-able. All fabrics are preshrunk in Eco friendly detergent. The fabrics are chosen to withstand wear & washing as well as being breathable & comfortable. The closures are made to be easy to use and functional, they are designed for children to be independent. In the 6 month- 2 year overalls & Rompers, snaps are the crotch closure for ease of changing. The 3-5 year sizes are meant for potty trained individuals.

Many styles are available made to order. Specific designs or styles may be available in other colors or fabric combinations. Please contact us if you see an item that you would like to purchase that is out of stock, not in your desired size or not shown in you desired color.
